Sustainability has become a strategic imperative. But how can executives implement a successful sustainability strategy and how can they measure strategic progress towards more sustainability? How can companies implement meaningful measures and incentives for decarbonization throughout their supply chains. Robert Kaplan will draw on his recent work to address these questions in his talk. He will provide examples of how companies can implement corporate strategies that are both profitable and sustainable.

The Balanced Scorecard, which he co-developed with David Norton, strongly influenced strategic performance measurement and strategy implementation. Also his more recent work on the implementation of sustainability strategies has a huge influence on theory and practice."
